High performing team

A newly established executive team in a growing and still immature banking organisation wanted support in coming together as a team.

Approach

Complex stakeholder management and need to align around new strategic imperatives was complicated by addition of several new team members joining through the duration of the program and a lengthy leadership transition. Individual coaching supported the team program which was designed to accelerate performance.

The team program covered core functional topics such as Board communication, leadership impact, strategic alignment and systems thinking through a lens of neuro science and the Leccioni model of team effectiveness. There were three two day off sites and a mix of feedback, new content, team exercising and social activities to accelerate trust building.

 

Insights and Impact

The business was able to rise to the challenges of the Covid situation and continuous to be rated a success by the shareholder. New members integrated successfully; the planned leadership transition was managed smoothly, an internal candidate successfully integrating into the role.
